Frances Anne Wyatt JP (d1933)
Mrs F.A. Wyatt, of Osborne Place, The Hoe, was a noted local activist during both her marriage and widowhood (she was Mrs P. Wyatt initially), and with a record of public service behind her (including being a Poor Law Guardian) was, in 1923, the first woman governor of the Plymouth Incorporation of the Poor (the administrators of the Poor Law in Plymouth). Described as one of the most popular figures in Plymouth, in 1924 she was appointed a JP for the county of Devon, and was buried in Plymouth Old Cemetery.
