Mrs Lorraine Tucker BEM
A dedicated campaigner working to improve services in her local community, she has a particular interest in promoting opportunities for children and young people in Plymouth, and the wider county. Mrs Tucker has worked for over 30 years in various fundraising initiatives, in association with her local community centre and church. She has also worked in association with the City of Plymouth Children’s Fund charity, providing disadvantaged youth locally with holiday opportunities, as well as being an enthusiastic member of the St John’s Ambulance Brigade (earning the St John’s Grand Prior Award for her work with that institution). She works to bring about positive change, and has been successful in doing so, to the great benefit of the city.
